What’s the Big Idea?
Designing Emails with Clear Goals
(and Revenue) in Mind Suzanne Norman & Gina Lamar
Emma
Email marketing is a cost-effective way—especially in a recession—for marketers to establish valuable,
interactive relationships with their customers and prospects. But spam, phishing, and overcrowded
inboxes are making it hard for marketers to get their emails read. This workshop helps marketers
develop successful email strategies while making the most of their budgets. You’ll learn how to craft a
winning brand experience for your email subscribers, resulting in increased brand loyalty and engagement,
increased site traffic and conversions, and improved communications with leads and prospects. Email marketing experts, Suzanne Norman and Gina LaMar, both from Emma, will use creative email examples to highlight best practices, all designed to help you make the most of your email campaign’s preview pane, images,
layout, subject line, style, tone and more. You'll leave with everything you need to send email campaigns
that attract, engage and inspire your audience.
We will cover:
• Creative, Design & Format - Making your Emails Relevant to Recipients
• Testing, QA and Performance Improvement Strategies
• Understanding and Applying Email Metrics
• Improving Results Through Segmentation & Personalization
• Dealing With Anti-Spam Filters - Improving Email Delivery Rates
• Participant Email Diagnosis and Q&A
This workshop will be of benefit to companies of all sizes. Smaller companies will learn how the tools
of the email trade can save staff time & money, and how to build a reputation as a permission-based
email marketer and grow an email list of folks who know and love you (in a healthy way). Larger companies
will benefit from these as well as learn how to put together an email strategy with all the right
staffers at the table and learn more advanced tips for segmentation, personalization and html design.
