MORNING WORKSHOP
More Bang for your Marketing Buck

Marketing co-ops use information from databases containing more records than individual businesses could even dream about. But how do they leverage that data for a better ROI? This month’s workshop, Opening the Co-op Black Box, shows you how.

The workshop gives attendees a look into the modeling and techniques used by marketing coop NextAction. During the workshop Robin Opie, Vice President of Analytics for NextAction, dispels the myth of the famous – or is it infamous? – “co-op black box.” Work shop attendees discover how regression models determine which potential prospects from a co-op database are most likely to respond to the various mailed offers. Robin explains how regression works by answering the questions:

• What really happens in a regression model?
• How is logistic regression different from linear regression?
• Which type of regression is better for which type of model and why?

Don’t miss this opportunity to look into marketing co-op’s black box to see how you might be able to get more out of your marketing dollars. Register today!

You get answers these questions:

• Are there techniques that can reach beyond regression to identify even better prospects?

• What does the Direct Marketing world have to learn from SPAM filters?

• What is the best way to measure the ‘success’ or ‘effectiveness’ of a model?

• What sorts of tools do we use to improve our performance as fast as possible?

LUNCHEON PRESENTATION

Access the Value of Marketing Data
in Minutes Not Days!

Do you have direct access to your integrated marketing data? Does it take you days to run counts and pull a list? Imagine what you could do if campaign lists took minutes to pull.

Find out what happens after a sophisticated marketing database is implemented by a company striving to operate a world-class marketing organization. Group Publishing, Inc. knew their data was valuable and would paint a picture of their customer base that would save them time and money—but they couldn’t integrate or access their data efficiently!

A Sophisticated Marketing Database—A Must Have Tool for World Class Marketing

With a sophisticated marketing database in place, Group now has marketing data that is actionable and ready for direct marketing purposes. Since the implementation of the marketing database:

• productivity has gone up
• their data is clearly defined and easily utilized—by their entire marketing department of 30+ employees
• they have saved valuable time, money and resources that they can see on their bottom line

They now have the ability to create a complete marketing campaign list in a few hours— a process that used to take them nearly a month to define and refine.

Join Chris Howley from Group Publishing, Inc and Jeff Barela from Dovetail as they share a case study about the implementation of a marketing database as well as how they turned Group into a world-class marketing organization.
