Do you truly understand the cost-effectiveness of what is probably your most important advertisement- your website? Have you ever assessed its effectiveness? For example; is it telling your story correctly and are you using it to maximum effect?
While you think you know your site (after all you wrote or approved the content, right?) are you really up to date on how the search engines’ PERCEIVE it – and thus, your business model? Does your website show up in the search engines in the way you think it does or should?
Take the time to assess how you present to potential customers or even if you can be found at all. To help with this task, Google has provided a fantastic free tool called Google Analytics. Combined with Google Webmaster Tools, you can setup an account, submit your information and then analyze your website to learn about it from the search engine’s perspective. Find out if you are telling the correct story to the world and/or seek out answers on to improve upon it. It’s worth the investment.
Busy with your own business and don’t have time to take on this project? HostWorks understands and can help you by setting up and managing a Google account for you. We will then review the data and present you with a custom road map to a more effective website presence. Contact us at www.hostworks.com. Where Does Your Paper Come From?

If you care about the environment and want future generations to have the same opportunities that we have, you support sustainability. You want products that are made in a way that can be sustained indefinitely without doing harm. You want paper that comes from a company that ensures forestlands are managed responsibly. Better yet, you want paper that is third-party certified.
But not all paper is certified sustainable. In fact, less than 10% of the world's forests are third-party certified. That seemingly puts a lot of demand on a relatively small resource. Fortunately, if we broaden our understanding of the paper industry as a whole and paper certification in particular, we'll find that it isn't that hard to buy paper we can feel good about.
Here's what you can do – Consider all credible certifications.
Certification in the forestry and paper industry is a growing trend, and credible certification comes from several organizations in North America, including the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI®), the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®), and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC®). These third-party experts set standards and work with an accredited organization to verify a paper company's performance. Their chain-of-custody certification indicates that every phase, from planting and harvesting to transportation and production to sale, has been carried out in a sustainable fashion.
xpedx represents the majority of paper makers in North America, Europe and Asia, and offers the largest selection of papers with recycled content, post-consumer waste content, and third-party certification. In fact, xpedx is the first U.S. paper distributor to receive SFI, FSC and PEFC chain-of-custody certification for its 230+ locations across North America and Mexico.
