Debra Jason Celebrates 15 Years in Business and Takes
a New Passion in the Right Direction
Hanalei, HI — A Boulder resident for 26 years,
Debra Jason owner of The Write Direction, celebrates
15 years in business on January 1, 2004. For more than
14 years, her office was located in downtown Boulder
until June of 2002 when she moved her operations to
the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Specializing in writing
Web and direct marketing communications, she continues
to work with clients on the Mainland, overseas, and
in Mexico.
Over the years, she has contributed to the local and
business communities by presenting marketing seminars
for the Boulder Area REALTOR® Association, the Boulder
Chamber of Commerce, the Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing
Association, Cahners Publishing and more. Since arriving
on Kauai, her seminars have been sponsored by organizations
such as the Kauai Small Business Development Center
and the Kauai Chamber of Commerce.
In 2003, in addition to operating The Write Direction,
Ms. Jason has taken on a new passion — marketing
real estate. "My marketing business and marketing
real estate seemed like a perfect fit," she explained.
"As a freelance writer, my challenge has always
been to find just the right words that speak to just
the right audience. It's my job to find just the "right
fit" so that prospective buyers want (and purchase)
my client's products or services."

With a 20+year background in the field of direct marketing
and as Past President of the Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing
Association (RMDMA), Ms. Jason is experienced in writing
both consumer and business-to-business brochures, catalogs,
direct mail packages, Web sites and more. Now —
hoping to serve the many Coloradoans interested in Kauai
property investments — she has added marketing
real estate to her list of services, working with Vision
