The Rocky Mountain DMA is offering this five-week course covering Interactive Marketing Fundamentals, beginning in March, as part of our Certified Direct & Interactive Marketing (CDIM) curriculum.  This program could change the course of your career!

  • Get up to speed on the myriad strategies available in online marketing … ranging from website development to email and social media.
  • Learn how to manage projects that will increase your website traffic, clickthroughs and conversions.
  • Find out why some emails sparkle, while others fall flat … and begin to understand the differences among the many vendors offering broadcast email services.
  • What sort of content and artwork is appropriate to the online environment … and how is that different from the print and direct-mail world?
  • And, become an expert in simple techniques that make your online efforts complement other marketing channels – skills that make you invaluable to your company and colleagues.

In this course, you will explore interactive strategies that work … with a strong emphasis on project and vendor management.  This is NOT a class where you’ll learn how to write HTML code or become an overnight SEO/SEM guru.  But you WILL learn how to tell the difference between the gurus and the fakes; you’ll learn the right questions to ask in order to achieve productive results that drive your company’s bottom line.

“Interactive Marketing Fundamentals” is taught by Jeff Finkelstein, the founder of Customer Paradigm, an interactive marketing firm in Boulder.  He also is an adjunct professor at Colorado State University, and has led workshops around the country teaching photography, web marketing and search-engine optimization.  (See Jeff’s bio)

This Interactive Marketing course, featuring 15 hours of intensive, hands-on classroom study, is an integral part of the CDIM professional education program.  In tandem with three complementary courses, you can distinguish yourself as a true professional, earning designation as a Certified Direct & Interactive Marketer (CDIM).

For more information on the class starting in March, email or phone Ed Swartley, executive director of the Rocky Mountain DMA, at 720-922-9413.  You may also register directly through RegOnline’s secure portal.

Cost of the course is $495 for participants completing Early Bird registration before March 12.  Course tuition is $595 for those registering after the deadline.
