President:
John Shilgalis

John Shilgalis is a freelance copywriter in Longmont, CO. John was the DirectLine newsletter editor for the past two years. In addition to holding the office of Executive VP (which in RMDMA language is President-Elect), John will be chairing the programming efforts of the RMDMA in 2001-2002.


Executive Vice-President:
Troy Fischer

Troy founded On Target Mailing Services in early 1998. He handles On Target's business development as well as some of the customer service and data processing.

VP Finance:
Bill Gerstner

Bill Gerstner is VP, Client Services for NextAction. Prior to NextAction, Bill was a marketing and list consultant in Denver. He's spent years in direct marketing with stints at Abacus Direct, A division of DoubleClick and the Polk Company (now known as Equifax). Bill has been a member of the RMDMA since 1994. He chaired DM Day in 1999 and has served on the RMDMA board for 3 years. He's been very committed to the DM Day effort and has been a very helpful and supportive mentor to the effort. Bill is serving a two year term as VP of Finance (which in RMDMA language means Treasurer and Financial Officer).

 



VP Records:
Jerry Boswell

A lifetime direct marketer, starting with illustrator, subscription fulfillment director, CEO of printing company, and now president of Defined Marketing Inc. A long time active member of RMDMA, Jerry has been in the B to B market his entire career. Jerry has been a member of the RMDMA since 1995, and most recently completed 2 years as a board member. Jerry will focus his energy this year on re-writing the 1995 version of the RMDMA bylaws.

Scott Herman serves as the Senior Account Executive for AmeriComm Direct
Marketing. He specializes in Retail and Financial Marketing. Scott
volunteered for the Communications Committee 3 years ago. He was the
Communications Director in 2001 and sat on the board in 2002. He will become the VP of the Membership Committee in 2003. Scott goal is simple, increase membership. He will do this through a few channels including targeted direct mail, one-on-one incentive programs, partnerships with parallel associations and industry events. He will also strive to reduce the churn rate of current
members.

Cathy Crowfoot, VP of Communications, will focus this year on increasing the perceived benefits and value of RMDMA participation. Cathy joined the RMDMA in 2000, and last year served as the DirectLine newsletter editor. While continuing to edit the newsletter this year, she also will oversee Public Relations, the Design Showcase, and the RMDMA Directory. With a diverse marketing background, Cathy is currently a Product Portfolio Manager in Consumer Marketing & Sales at Xcel Energy.
