Sandi Rhynard, Executive Director

While other RMDMA board members, officers and chairs get the ink and the feel of the warmth of the spotlight, Sandi Rhynard quietly and effectively goes about her job as executive director "behind the seens." And if you ask anyone who's had the good fortune to work with her, we're getting our money's worth - and then some - from this hard-working, dedicated and multi-talented administrator.

As mother of two... five year-old Delani Rae, and two year-old Jordan Day, wife and aunt to 19, Sandi comes by her outgoing and nurturing personality naturally. Sandi earned her marketing degree at UNC in Greeley and went on to polish her professional skills with stints in sales and client service positions at CongAgra and Abacus Direct.

Sandi brings to RMDMA a wealth of experience, loads of energy, a hard-to-find perseverance for perfection, and above all, the sense of humor to survive all the chaos and curve balls that never show up in a job description.

Sandi is the glue that holds RMDMA together. Everyone connected with the association - committee chairs, volunteers, vendors, contributors, members, visiting speakers, everyone - turns to Sandi for help at some point or another. She's the answer lady. The diplomat . The firefighter. The go-between. If she can't help, she'll find someone who can. And she does it all with the good-natured demeanor and plentiful patience of a caring mother hen.

As wife and mother of 2 boys, Justin age 17 and Michael age 12, Carol DeVita has been working behind the scenes supporting Sandi and the RMDMA in many ways since the summer of 2001. She brings with her a lot of experience and is a great addition to the RMDMA.

You can count on Carol to deliver timely responses to your job bank inquiries, event registrations and if you haven't met her yet, you'll likely have a chance to introduce yourself at an upcoming meeting at the registration desk at RMDMA events.
